"She's doing very well, happy, I know she's tough on the employees. Julie is doing a great job, [Resident] has friends there, she is getting very good care and it is a beautiful facility. Michelle is always very cooperative and nice. Area of improvement could be trying harder to keep her on her diabetic diet although she admitted that her kids bring her sweets all the time :) (and she likes it)" - Resident's Family

"I told Shirley that I was calling to make sure that she was delighted with [Resident]'s care and her response was " Oh my God, Yes!" "She loves it there and everyone is so nice. Michelle is a gem and always has a smile. The food is so good. [Resident] was on her death bed and that's why we hesitated to move her in. Since then she has gained 30 pounds and is doing so much better. Best thing we ever did. The people are so caring and we tell everybody we know!" - Resident's Family

"Delighted, she's doing very well and word is starting to get out. I asked him how we might get the word out better and told him that we have run newspaper ads with limited results. He said he didn't see them and suggested radio…specifically 106.7 Country. He concluded by saying, "You have nice people working." - Resident's Family

"Very happy…very pleased…staff is excellent…I know that he is not the easiest guy to care for...improvements would be if maybe he could get out more?" - Resident's Family

"She is real pleased and he is comfortable there and with the familiar surroundings which is important because he is declining quickly." - Resident's Family

Are you delighted? "Most definitely, very happy, gorgeous facility. I want to live there!" I assured her we had a room for her. She said she is telling everyone and that we should stay in touch with Mary D because she will have more people to refer to us!!" - Resident's Family

"The new nurse is looking into his medications due to his recent lethargy. He used to be nearly anorexic but he has gained a lot of healthy weight at Amery Memory Care and this is the most he has weighed (good thing) he loves it when he can help the staff with things and feel useful , he is slowly warming up to Julie. The staff is doing a great job caring for him." - Resident's Family

"Very delighted, couldn't ask for a better place! We looked at a lot of places, the people are wonderful there." - Resident's Family

"Very delighted...we call it "The Resort".  Staff is great. Family member is a former nursing home worker and her sister is a nurse so their insights are very informed perspectives. “The staff is great and once people tour they will see how great a place it is.” I asked about the family cash incentive idea for new referrals and while it didn't offend her she said "I don't need it, I'm telling everybody I know what a great place this is!” She had cared for [Resident] but recognized her need for more stimulation so really appreciates all the activities. She said that if she only had the area nursing homes as an option, she would not have placed her anywhere. This one evoked a tearful emotion in me as she could not say enough good things about the job you are doing there!" - Resident's Family

"He enjoys it there, he gets along good there, they enjoy the music and the BBQ was a big hit.” I always ask for any ways we can improve things. “She mentioned that his wheelchair is a little too small for him. Is there any way we could help them with that?" - Resident's Family

"Very pleased...nothing but good things to say…happy with the care...she said she knows that her mom is not a “happy camper" and never has been. Family stays away because they think they just irritate her." - Resident's Family
